I have been an amputee for 27 years. I lost my right leg above the knee in an automobile accident when I was 18 years old. The technology of prosthetics have changed dramatically over the years. About fifteen years ago, I came in touch with Paul and he recommended a brand new prosthesis with a knee called the “C –Leg”. Rest is history. Over the fifteen year period, I have had Paul make several prosthesis for me. Each time the prosthesis made by Paul is by far the best I have had. I am active, walk and travel a lot. Outside of normal maintenance from day to day use, I have not had a single problem. In particular, not a single skin or fit related problem, which I find almost impossible to believe. Having a quality prosthesis that fits has improved my overall health and quality of my life. Paul always takes the time to understand
his patients needs.

I am a very active above knee amputee. Paul Burnette has been working with me for well over ten years now in assisting me to get the most out of my prosthetic needs. My latest prosthesis has a microprocessor knee unit, and it is the most advanced leg I've ever had. The socket is also the most comfortable one I have ever had as well. Paul is also efficient and has a sense of humor about him that makes my visits with him pleasurable. I can count on him to best meet my needs.

After losing my left leg above the knee, I was referred to a prosthetic company where Paul Burnette was working at the time in Fremont, California. Paul made me feel at ease and helped me to learn the process of getting a prosthetic leg. He was very professional, but friendly also. All in all, Paul has made three prostheses for me, each one using a different type of knee and prosthetic foot. Always the best possible choices for me for what I needed at the time. My last and current prosthesis utilizes the C-leg, which certainly works quite well. Paul always answered questions I had for him, even when I did not have an appointment. This helped me to get the best possible use of my prosthetic leg. Paul is not only a very proficient and professional person, he has also become my friend. I look forward to working with him in the future.

I have been a patient of Paul Burnette's for the past 20 years. I have always been happy with his service. I have a very difficult residual limb to fit, yet Paul has always done a great job in making me comfortable in my socket. He always makes sure I'm happy with my prosthesis before sending me on my way.

I am an amputee and have had a left leg prosthesis for 75 years so you can imagine how many I have experienced during that period. I've had 2 made by Paul Burnette in San Mateo and I can attest that they are the best to date in terms of comfort, mobility and general service.
I owe all of this to Paul, who fitted and designed the leg with great skill and sensitivity to my needs, which has made my daily life more useful and pleasant.

In July of 1998 I suffered the loss of my right leg below the knee due to complications of diabetes. I had no idea what to expect and wasn't sure wheteher or not I would be able to walk again without the aid of crutches.
Then I met Paul Burnette who helped me both physically and emotionally in coping with my new adaptive lifestyle. Paul had true compassion for what I was going through and assured me that everything would soon be all right He made a carbon fiber socket together with a carbon fiber Flex Foot. Within about 2 months after my amputation I was walking once again. I resumed my job as a sales representative, a career that required lots of walking. With Paul's upbeat attitude, I changed my mindset and developed the strong belief that there was noithing I couldn't do. I even resumed my exercise regimen, including bicycle riding. I am proud to say that I have accumulated over 5000 miles while riding with my prosthetic leg!
I don't know what I would have done had I not met Paul. He is the only prosthetist I have ever had, and I have no plans to seek out the services of anyone else. Over the years, Paul has made four different prosthetic sockets fr me to accommodate changes in my residual limb. And in his care, he has made all the necessary adjustments any time it is needed. He seems genuinely concerned about my health and well-being
Paul is my "main man" when it comes to my prosthetic needs. He has always exhibited professionalism and has become someone who I am proud to call a friend. Thanks, Paul, for helping get me through some pretty rough times!
